Hi Wendy,

Just a note to let you China is doing GREAT!!!!
She looks like a little dalmation with the spots on her nose.

She is super-spoiled and gets lots of hugs and warmth from the kids.
I am so surprised at her temperament.
She is so calm and receptive especially my young girls.
China loves the snow and loves to play outside.
She doesn’t really bark (which I really appreciate)
I even took her to work with me a couple of times and she lay
on my lap or under the desk…she was soooo good!

She was also a hit at the beauty salon. She sat on my lap the entire time.

She is really smart and has learned to “sit” and “come” already.
Thanks for our beautiful China and Merry Christmas from our family to yours.

We will send pics when we get a chance!

Just a quick note to let you know she is doing fine, when I get my pictures on a cd will send you an update.

I did want you to know that I have had compliments on her lately that go directly back to you and your family. I brought her to work with me last week to take her to a local groomer, 1st time w/the groomer. She took Reno ’s personal info and when I went to pick her up, she could not believe how good she had been. She expected to see a dog that had missed out on human contact, having been used for breeding – it was just the opposite. Her experience has been that even with small breeders that often happens. She is a breeder. Reno was WONDERFUL (we know that.) She was truly impressed with Reno and the way she was raised. That says a lot about you and your dogs. I brought her back to work for a short while to stay, she greeted everyone –visited with them for a while and promptly fell asleep in my cubical so mom could work!

Lastly, this past weekend she traveled with me for the weekend, not just a day trip. She loves to ride and promptly falls asleep (some company she is!) She was around another smaller dog all weekend and they did great, not to mention the new people. Everyone was so impressed that I could have gotten an adult dog with this personality. Wendy, I could not ask for a better girl – she is wonderful, and it truly does go back to you, your family and her early environment.

I might be going into the UP within the next couple of months- if we can coordinate schedules between here and there. I always take 46 east to Alma and head north. If you would like to see Reno , I would be happy to let you know when it would be, if you would be home, I could swing by with her for a few minutes. If you would prefer not, that’s okay, too, I understand. Let me know.

Dear Wendy

Hello, this is Kellie and Kathy Dicken! How are you doing? Did you have your baby? Well I hope all went well! We just thought we would let you know that our baby "Charlie" is doing so good! WE LOVE HIM SO MUCH! :) He's so spoiled.........seriously SPOILED!!! Grandma is worse with him than she was with me! :) lol What we were wondering is if we could get put on the waiting list for your next litter we want another one. My Grandfather absolutely loves him to so another one will not be a problem! What female will you be breeding next? We are thinking we want a Chocolate or maybe a Black & Tan~! Grandma has got a new grand child now! :) We just thought we would check in with you and see how everything was going! I will try to get some pics. on the internet and send them to you so you can see how he's growing! Instead of Charlie Brown we call him Charlie Red. And my b-hound Libby has adopted him as her own, they get along very well!

Thank You
Kellie & Kathy Dicken

Hi Wendy How are you? I was out to your place about a little over a year now and bought the runt of the bunch. She is black with tan and white markings. Just beautiful. She is doing real well, very spoiled.

How do cockers get along with one another?

I was wondering if you could tell me if you have any puppies now or how long the waiting list is?

Wendy:

It was great to talk to you yesterday about your latest litter of puppies as well has how all your dogs are raised and cared for.

As I indicated I have a 2 ½ year old daughter (Emilee) who has had quite a bit of exposure to dogs big and small so I was very glad to hear that your own children are involved with the puppies from the beginning.

I am very excited about our potential newest addition to our family and the chocolate male with the green eyes sounds like he will be a beautiful dog as well as a lot of fun!

A friend of mine (who is amazing at coming up with names) came up with the name Hershey, but I will let you know if that is for sure going to be his name in the next week or so. I think it certainly fits but we shall see!

I have put the check to you for $100 in the mail this morning so you should have it soon.

I will talk with you soon!

Thank you!

I will gladly keep you updated and if you ever make it over to Muskegon and have time, give us a call and stop to see her. If I ever make it your way with her, will do the same. She is so precious..... it will take her time to adjust but I believe she will. Judy

HI JUDY THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME KNOW HOW SHE IS DOING...I CRYED AFTER YOU LEFT WITH HER AND MY OLDEST DAUGHTER TOOK IT QUITE HARD ALSO.WE SURE DO MISS HER AND YES SHE IS AND VERY LOVED DOG AND WELL MANNERED.SHE WILL BRING YOU LOTS OF JOY FOR YEARS TO COME PLEASE KEEP ME UPDATED WITH PICTURE I AM TEARING UP TYPING THIS I HAVE NEVER GOTTON RID OF AN ADULT DOG WE RAISED SO ITS VERY HARD FOR OUR FAMILY.I KNOW RENO WILL MISS HER SISTER VEGAS AND THE OTHER DOGS BUT SHE WILL ADAPT WELL FOR YOU AS TIME GOES ON. THANK YOU AGAIN AND GOOD LUCK WITH EVERTHING THE NEWVILLES.

Judy VanderHoeven <jvanderhoeven@whitehallproducts.com> wrote: Just to let you know, Reno is doing just fine. She did very well Saturday. We had surprise problems with my car on the way home and she handled the turmoil very well. Fortunately we were at friends at the time!!! When we got the situation taken care of she settled down and slept the full way home. I made her a bed on the floor Saturday night, went to turn lights off and came back to her being on the bed! Got one of those irrestible deep sighs and of course she stayed there.

Is getting brave doing the parameter of the yard, follows the fence. Her back yard area, for a city lot, is quite large, about 64' deep and 75' wide. I have yet to hear her bark.

I have had her on the leash, Saturday all day, but part of Sunday, doesnt seem too sure of that so my guess is she may not be used to them, but we have taken a couple of short walks and she is getting the idea...... It's so cute cuz when I stop, she usually sits.

She misses all of you, I have no doubt. My house is quiet compared to children playing and other dogs around all day long. She is comfortable enough to make herself at home- loves the chairs by the windows. It is so obvious she had lots of love, friends that have met her have commented on that. She is really a good girl.

I will let you know once she is spayed, and will send you a copy of that.

Wendy Awwwww! The puppies are too cute. We got our bailey from you almost 3 years ago now and she is doing just wonderful. I check back here now and again to see the new puppies. I really wish we could afford a new one now but maybe some day soon. I keep telling people that I know if they are interested in cocker spaniels to check out your website! And I will continue to do so.

How is the family? We recently had our new addition to the family as well. Baby Kenzie is 7 months old now and her older sister is 17 now and her brother is now 11. Wow they grow up fast.

Just wanted to drop you a little note to say hi and hopefully soon we will be able to get another puppy soon. Take Care.

Hi Wendy,

I just wanted to thank you for our beautiful Dolly.  We love her very much.  Our Sadie is getting better with her everyday.  Dolly wants to play but Sadie just doesn't get it.  We're so thankful for you, Wendy, the wonderful breeder that took such great care of our Dolly before we received her.  Our girl is really growing. She likes to eat food, chew on rawhide bones and fetch the ball that the vet gave her as a present.  Dolly really likes her King size bed where she sleeps.  She has been getting her shots and all the things she is suppose to get.  She belongs to the AKC.  Her name is Dolly Golden Girl.  We also had her micro chipped, since we spend a lot of time between our home and our cabin in the UP.  She is a very active little pup.
I have attached several pictures of Dolly for your family to see.
We hope you are all well.  Have a  very Happy Thanksgiving.

Hi Wendy;

Just wanted to give you an update on "Jersey." She has made her way into our family (and of course our hearts!) really well.

Her new name is Lucy and she is making great strides each day. The kids just love having her around, and she loves them just as much. She is gentle, loving, and obedient. I am attaching a few quick pictures we took the day we got home.

I feel like she has been with us forever, and can't imagine our home without her.

Merry Christmas, enjoy the pictures.

The Blevins Family.

Miss Zoey Thanks So Much Wendy!

Hi Wendy,

I hope you and your family are doing well. I have wanted to send you pictures before now but my family and I have been very busy with my son coming home from Iraq, the end of the school year stuff and our heating and cooling company has been overwhelmingly busy and then of course there is Zoe. She is so wonderful, we love her so much! It is as though she was truly meant for our family, she is sweetheart. She is housebroken, that went really well, now she is losing her baby teeth and has two new teeth already. Our shepherd, Timber, is crazy in love with her, they get along really well and play hard, it is so much fun to watch, he is so big and she is so small. Actually we were at the vet a month ago, Zoe weighed 8.5 lbs. and Timber was 121 lbs.. She is so eager to please us, she loves being a good girl, she has learned to sit and stay, we are working on staying in the yard and to come to us when she is called, and for the most part it is going well. I was worried about training a small dog, I have never had one, she has made my job easy and it is fun to work with her. She has really attached herself to me, which is what I wanted, when Timber barks or something startles her she comes right to me, I love that she trusts me. Memorial weekend we visited my parents home up north, she traveled and behaved beautifully, both my parents but especially my father really like her. My father trained dogs at Leader Dogs for the Blind for over 40 years, it was so nice to hear him say what a nice temperament and disposition Zoe has and how well we were working with her and how well she is responding to us. Thank you so very much for her, and the wonderful love and care you and your family provide to your breeding stock and puppies, it was immediately apparent that she was bred and raised in a loving and caring environment. Again, Thank You to you and your family.

Hi Wendy,

So far so great! I am so in love with her, she is wonderful. I know that I should not speak so soon but honestly she has been great. She seems to be doing better than I thought she would, she is drinking, eating and going potty outside, what more could I ask for.  And as for Timber (the German Shepherd) and the three cats, all seems to be good. Of course tomorrow is another day but that is okay! I will send pictures if not tonight, definitely tomorrow.
