Achievements:
Even though I am a Golden person I have always owned one German Shepherd too. So as Sherry was getting older I decided to start looking for a puppy. I contacted Sherry's breeder Laurie Jeff Greer and she said she had a puppy she thought would fit into my house with all the Goldens. I saw Splenda and fell in love. So now I have the privilege of owning this wonderful bitch with Laurie Jeff Greer of Kaimacha Kennels and Suzanne, who has traveled with me, helped me show and lived with us when we moved to Missouri. Jeff had her entered in a couple of weekends of shows and thought it would be good practice for her before I took her home. The first weekend she was Best of Winners and BOS for her first points. The second weekend she was Winners for a major and Best of Breed and a Group 4th. Needless to say she didn't come home after those two weekends, she stayed out to show. Splenda finished her Championship with 3 majors and 3 Group Placements all from the puppy class.
In 2005 she was #8 in the Herding Group and #13 for German Shepherds. It was exciting year. Splenda was invited to the Eukanuba Invitational for 2005 and 2006. Unfortunately the Invitational comes when she decides to blow coat each year. Splenda will be bred in the future.
BIG NEWS: Splenda wins a Award of Merit at the Westminster Kennel Club Show. We are so excited! She was expertly handled by Laurie Jeff Greer. Pictures will be posted as soon as we receive them.
