"Hobie" Sandpiper's Surf's Up is Winners Dog/Best of Winners Jan 5 in Deland FL. What a great start to the new year and the January Circuit!

"Hobie" Sandpiper's Surf's Up wins back to back Winners Dog/Best of Winners (WD/BOW) at the Suwanne Valley Kennel club show's Dec 6 & 7 in Lake City FL!
SEPTEMBER 2008 GRCA NATIONAL BRAGS!!!!!!
"Hobie" Sandpiper's Surf's Up wins 2nd Place in his 12 to 18 month class at the GRCA National Specialty out of 38 dogs. He also made the cut in his 15 to 18 month Sweeps class and had the honor of showing behind his father, BIS Ch. Carrera's Strike The Gold in the stud dog class helping dad win 2nd place as well.
Also his litter mate "Lizzy" Sandpiper's Fun Fun Fun made the cut in her 12 to 18 month class at the GRCA National. This was Lizzy's very first show and she did great. Lizzy is owned by Sally Ray and Patty Pace and was shown by my-self.
Hobie and Lizzy are litter mates out of BIS BISS Ch. Carrera's Strike The Gold "Albert" and BISS Ch. Sandpiper's Blondes Have More Fun "Blondie"
We also have a Veterans Brag!!!!! "Spur" Shenandoah's Golden Spur CDX RN TD OA OAJ VCD2 earned a 3rd place in both his Veterans sweeps and regular class at the national as well. We are very proud of all our dogs.

"Ryder" Int' Ch. Sandpiper's Ryder Cup RA BOSS earns two legs toward his CD on his first two tries! We are very proud.
MAY 2008
"Ryder" Sandpiper's Ryder Cup RA BOSS is a New International Champion. This past weekend May 3rd and 4th Ryder finished his Int' Ch. title in Orlando earing 2 Best of Breed wins and a Sporting Group 1 and Group 2. The same weekend "Hobie" Sandpiper's Surf's Up was Best Puppy in Breed 3 out of 4 shows also winning Puppy Sporting Group 1 and Group 2 as well.
APRIL 2008
"Hobie" Sandpiper's Surf's Up wins BEST OF OPPOSITE IN SWEEPS at the Sandlapper Golden Ret. Club specialty under much respected judge Janet Bunce. This is a great honor especially since Hobie's litter mate Kai won Best in Sweeps.
The GoldenSpur gang had a great time at the Golden Retriever Club of America's Eastern Regional Specialty in Perry GA. "Hobie" Sandpiper's Surf's Up was 3rd place in the 9 to 12 class on Friday and Saturday and also took 3rd place Saturday evening in his Sweepstakes Class. "Ryder" Sandpiper's Ryder Cup took 3rd place in the Am Bred Class on Saturday and "Spur" Shenandoah's Golden Spur won his Veteran Sweeps class as well as his Veteran Class at the Specialty on Sunday. We are very proud of our boys!!! They did great with the very large entry. All the boys where owner handled as well.

"Hobie" Sandpiper's Surf's Up wins Best Puppy in Match at the Florida Gulf Coast Golden Retriever Clubs Match under Breeder Judge Valerie Garcia. Thank You to Barbara Tucker of Fallchase goldens for sponsering the beautiful perpetual trophy that Hobie was presented with.

"Maggie Mae" GoldenSpur Maggie Mae CDX RA NA OAJ earned her RE at the Orlando Dog Training Club obedience trial. Also "Ryder" Sandpiper's Ryder Cup BOSS RN earned his RA at the same trial.

"Cassidy" McKendree Phoenix Sundance Kid RA NA NAJ goes BEST OF BREED at the St. Petersburge Kennel Club show. Cassidy is owned by PJ Lacette of Phoenix Kennels and Co-owned and bred by Julie Lay
and was shown by myself. "Cass" is one of my favorite clients!!!!! She is a really fun dog to show.
MARCH 24 & 25, 2007
Another great weekend for the GoldenSpur gang in obedience.
"Dale" GoldenSpur Full Throttle, earned two legs toward his CD title. On both days his score was a 191 1/2.
On Sunday Dale also placed 4th in the class and was in a run-off for 2nd.
"Maggie Mae" GoldenSpur's Maggie Mae, earned two extra legs on her CDX both with placements. On Saturday she placed 3rd and on Sunday she placed 4th.

GoldenSpur goldens had a great day at the Everglades Golden Retriever Club specialty. "Maggie Mae" GoldenSpur's Maggie Mae, earned her CDX with a first place finish.
Also "Ryder" Sandpiper's Ryder Cup, earned his first Rally Novice leg.
