We recommend (but do not require)  that you, as the new puppy owner, take the newly arrived puppy to your veterinarian within three (3) working days of receipt of the pup for a "well puppy" check-up to make sure the pup is healthy and sound at the time you receive the pup. If the pup is found to be unsound or unhealthy at the time of arrival, the pup can be returned at your expense with a written explanation from your veterinarian along with paperwork for a full refund. Any and all veterinary fees are the responsibility of the buyer.

This puppy is sold on limited registration. Limited Registration is an AKC Non-Breeding registration. Limited registration does not prevent puppy from being campaigned in any AKC event except conformation classes.  Breeder can change limited to Full registration when hip, elbow and eye clearances have been obtained, and copies of clearances ( OFA for hips, elbows and CERF for eyes) are sent to breeder.  Breeder will then provide buyer with a signed form that buyer can submit to the AKC.

Breeder has taken care to mate two dogs that have genetic clearances and sound temperaments.  Puppy is guaranteed for Hereditary Hip & Elbow Dysplasia, failed CERF (eye) exam and SAS. OFA, CERF and a board certified Canine Cardiologist will be the sole judge in determination of defect.

Guarantee will be the purchase price of the puppy applied to a puppy from a future litter, with defective puppy remaining with owner, or returned to breeder along with the registration papers transferred back to Greenmeadows. Breeder does not pay any veterinary fees, or any other associated costs such as shipping.   Proof of defect and proof of spay or neutering must be sent to breeder.

This guarantee is in effect until puppy reaches 30 months of age. If the dog has been bred prior to obtaining OFA and CERF clearances, this guarantee is void.

Purchaser agrees to provide quality dog food, veterinary care and proper care throughout it’s entire life. 

Should owner no longer wish to keep the dog, breeder must be notified.  Breeder may opt to keep dog/bitch or place it in a suitable home, if possible.

Breeder will be available to owner for dog’s entire life should questions arise.  Updates by email, phone, letter and pictures would be greatly appreciated.
