About Us
We are a small home-based kennel located in Midwestern Ontario, 2 hours from Toronto, 2 1/2 hours from Fort Erie/Buffalo and 3 1/2 hours from Windsor/Detroit (see map at the bottom of this page). We do have a large run for our furry friends, however, our dogs reside with us in the house. They are treated as important members of our family and, as such, are spoiled rotten. Our puppies are born and raised in our home and are equally suitable as loving companions or new performance partners. It is our commitment to this beloved breed to produce goldens that are true Golden temperament and type.

We actively compete in conformation, obedience, rally obedience and field. Bailey and Brady are also involved in therapy visits at our local hospital and nursing homes.
Our foremost objective is to breed only genetically sound parents that will produce puppies that can excel in all areas of competition but, above all else, will steal your heart and become loving companions. Every dog bred must have elbow, hip, eyes and heart clearances which are fundamental towards helping to ensure a strong future for this wonderful breed. All of these factors and decisions are important in determining the quality of life for our beloved companions for years to come. Breeding is a HUGE responsibility and we are dedicated to making sure that we do our best to stand up to this responsibility.
Our puppies are sold to approved homes on non-breeding agreements. Included with each puppy sold is our commitment to providing you with on-going support for the life of your new companion, as well as a comprehensive 50+ page puppy package which includes important information on health, training, socializing and grooming your puppy. Hallmark Goldens has an excellent "network" comprised of golden retriever breeders from Canada, the U.S., and around the world. If we can't answer your questions through our own expertise and experience, we can find the answer from other breeders who have dealt with your individual problem or concern. We encourage our puppy buyers to contact us at any time after the sale of their puppy with any questions, and we will always be available to help any of our "babies".
