I'd just like to say that we could not be happier with the customers who have purchased puppies from Hallmark Goldens. Our puppies are very special to us and it means so much to know that they are being raised in loving homes! Our puppy buyers keep in contact with us and update us on their puppy's progress, graduation from obedience classes, etc.. It is hard to let our puppies go to their new homes after all the time that we have spent with them, but then we begin to receive the e-mails and calls from all our new friends who are so thrilled with their new companions .... those e-mails and all the compliments that we receive make it all worthwhile.

I contacted Cheryl to see if she had any adult Goldens available as a companion for my two year old Golden. She responded back about the saddest story that should never happen to any dog. She had a 15 month old Golden that had come to her after being in a couple negligent homes where she was crated all day and eventually was to be put to sleep as no one could care for her. I told Cheryl I was interested in "Hope". Nothing was known about the breeder or Hope's parents, but Cheryl gave me all the history that she had and after many emails back and forth, Cheryl offered to bring Hope out to my home (an hour and a half away) for a visit. When Hope arrived, I knew the moment I laid eyes on her that she belonged here. Cheryl suggested the visit initially to make sure that my Casey would get along with her and also our 4 cats. She said she would take her home after the visit and let us think about whether this was the right thing for us. This would be her fourth home in less than a year and it would be too upsetting for Hope to have another major change in her life. Cheryl had taken the time to take her to obedience classes to help her with her confidence and treated her like her own without hesitation. I told Cheryl we would love to have her and arrangement was made to bring her a few weeks later. Cheryl brought Hope to us on February 15th, 2004. She called and emailed regularly to see how things were going and the rest is history. Hope is now a much loved member of our family. I respect Cheryl for her love of the breed and how much time and attention she gave Hope. She went out of her way to make sure that everyone had adjusted and still drops by to say hello. She is always available when I have a question or concern about either one of my dogs. She goes above and beyond the call of duty to find answers to medical concerns or any concern for that matter. I certainly would not hesitate to recommend Cheryl and Hallmark Goldens to anyone who is considering a Golden. There is no question in my mind that she is a highly respected breeder and there is no questioning her love of Goldens at all.

Casey and Hope
We absolutely love our dog Hunter, who is now almost two years old. Hunter was from Hallmark's first litter and he has a superb good natured personality and temperament. We are often complimented by others about how friendly and good looking Hunter is. He is wonderful with all children and other dogs. Cheryl and Jeff have dedicated their time to raising purebred dogs. They are very conscious and dedicated to ensuring that the dogs are healthy and maintain the good looks of the breed. Cheryl has won shows, including a Best Puppy in Breed with Hunter's sister, Jordan. Hunter's aunt Taylor is also a Canadian Champion with a Best of Breed as well. In addition to numerous awards, we are very pleased with the 'after sale' contact we have had with Cheryl regarding Hunter and his progression to adulthood. She is truly concerned that you own a dog for life and that your dog remains healthy and safe. We would highly recommend Hallmark Goldens to anyone who is looking for a Golden Retriever. You will be happy with all aspects of your new puppy and future family member.

It is amazing the difference it makes when a puppy comes from a loving home. Nellie's love of being with people and others dogs shows she was socialized in a caring environment from the very beginning. Dear Cheryl and Jeff,
I cannot tell you how much having Jake as a part of our family has remarkably changed our lives forever. He is our first dog and after growing up begging for one from our parents, (but always getting hamsters or fish instead), we are so grateful to have him. We ARE those crazy dog people and proud of it (yes we call ourselves Jakes mommy and daddy).
Jake has a perfect temperament. He just turned one and to this day we have not seen him growl at a person or another dog ? although he loves to growl at the reflection of the TV on our living room window. We mostly live in an older neighbourhood full of original owners (so seniors) and Jake has been adopted by all as their new grandson. It seems like my husband and I are just chopped liver compared to Jake. My niece (age 6) loves to play hide and go seek with Jake and take him for walks. It is awesome to see how he just knows that she is little and is extra gentle with her. We were amazed how this came naturally to him.
The best part about our boy is coming home from a stressful day at work. Jake just freaks out with excitement to see you. How can anyone feel any anxiety after a greeting like that!
Jake is very handsome too, but of course I am bias. I actually call him pretty all the time which makes my husband roll his eyes at me, but HE IS!!!! We get stopped on our walks all the time. People constantly ask us where we got him from and we are always proud to blurt out HALLMARK GOLDENS!!!!
