"LUCY"
Welcome to the page dedicated to the newest girl to call Camp Joyso home...."Miss Lucy".
Lucy is the female pup kept out of Mocha's second litter, when she was bred with Michele Tuominen's Aust. import "Johnny".
At the tender age of 8 weeks, it was obvious to Kathy (Mocha's owner), Michele (Johnny's owner) and myself that Lucy embodies the best that both of her parents have to offer.
When Lucy was put up on the grooming table to be "evaluated" by the 3 of us, we quickly and unanimously agreed that she was the girl to keep.
This is a really good thing as Lucy had stolen my heart from her very first breath.
From the get go, Lucy was always front 'n center!
These "look at me / what trouble can I find to get into now" pups (usually a girl) always steal my heart, making me want to keep them every time.
Sadly, in every other litter, there have always been other females pups which have provided a more complete package of the things we look for in future breeding / showing prospects and I have had to let my spunky girls go off to live their lives in other homes.
Not this time, my spunky girl had the whole enchilada and could stay here!!!
Lucy, is so named because she always "had some explain' to do" and we were always saying "Lucy where are you and what trouble are you getting into now" .
With Lucy's big sister "Shaker" ever so vigilantly watching over her and guiding her through all that is life for a new puppy, Lucy is having the time of her life!
As with her sister, Shaker, even at this young age, Lucy loves children and is so very well behaved when in their company.
Lucy loves to meet other dogs and always assumes they want to play as much she does.
Lucy is an absolute joy to live with, sweet, loving with just a titch of spunk.
