Lazyriver is located just outside of Ayer's Cliff, in the beautiful Eastern Townships of Quebec, Canada. This picture shows the view as you get off the Autoroute coming from either Vermont or Montreal. This is Lake Massiwippi with the village of Ayer's Cliff being on the far side of the lake.
Here is the "dog's" house, that they so graciously allow me to share with them. We are located at the other end of town from the lake.
This is a panoramic view of the dog's yard between the house and the barn.
This is a panoramic view from behind the barn. The horse's pasture is to the left, while the dog's yard is on the right.
The kids have a large yard to run and play in and a full set of agility equipment as well.
And of course what Golden Retriever home would be complete without a swimming pool for the dog's enjoyment. :-)
I am a member of the Golden Retriever Club Of Canada, the Golden Retriever Club Of Quebec, the Golden Retriever Club Of America and the Canadian Kennel Club.
All of my dogs are tested for their health clearances (hips, elbows, hearts and eyes) whether they are used for breeding or not. I breed very seldom, maybe every 2 or 3 years. When I do breed I do my best to produce beautiful, healthy puppies with proper temperaments.
This website is meant to be a celebration of the Lazyriver family, dogs, horses and cats, past and present. You can follow my dogs lives from puppyhood to the present thru their pictures on the "Our Girls", "Our Boys" and "Photos" pages. While I am extremely proud of what my own dogs have accomplished in and out of the show ring, I am equally proud of the accomplishments of the extended Lazyriver family, whether they have titles or not. Their lives can be followed thru their pictures on the "Lazyriver Dogs" pages. The horses and cats each have their own pages, and all my pets from the past have their own very special place on the "Rainbow Bridge" page.
The Lazyriver Family are proud supporters of The Smiling Blue Skies Cancer Fund and The Goldstock Fund with the "Sasha & The Sashette Calendar" that we have produced over the past 4 years, raising over $3000.00 for the two funds. Work is already underway on the 2009 version of the calendar. After having lost Shiloh to cancer in August 2006, I now have a personal stake in helping fight this horrible disease. Links to the websites of both of these funds can be found on my "Links" page
I hope you enjoy your visit to the Lazyriver website.
