2006 NEINEA Winners Bitch and AOM
Achievements:
Birka is a very energetic, enthusiastic and hard working girl. Although very young she has successfully earned a number of titles.
Breed Championship with a Best of Breed over specials, Winners Bitch at a Regional Specialty, and a Conformation Award of Merit.
In Obedience she earned her CD title with a High in Trial at the Illinois Specialty, the same weekend as her Specialty Winners Bitch.
She is preparing for the ring in open and has mastered all of the exercises but needs proofing and experience.
She is a pnenomenal tracker, earning the TD at about 15 months of age, and is currently working on her TDX.
Birka's earned the first two legs of her Rally Novice title at 7 months. She recently became the first female elkhound to earn the Rally Advanced Excellent title!.
She passed her herding instinct test with great style.
Birka won High In Trial at the 2007 NEAM Specialty, for her first open obedience leg.
Best of all she loves to snuggle with me or chase chipmunks on our farm.
Birka finished her CDX surprising me with two consecutive legs at the 2008 NEAM Specialty, and another HIgh in Trial!
Onward to Utility!!
Birka is ranked 7th Norwegian Elkhound for the Delaney Ratings in Front and Finish for open. Her mom Willow is 3rd, sister Freia 4th and dad Rogue is 6th. Talk about a family affair!
Birka passed her Canine Good Citizen today, 11/22/08. I never put her in one before due to her intensity and love of jumping on people!...
