Achievements:
Thor is a 13 month old surrendered dog from LaCrosse who came to us in August of 2009. . We were contacted by the Coulee Humane Society to take him as he was hyper and jumped on people. He was untrained and very strong and energetic. He is learning manners and to walk nicely on leash. Currently we have two parties interested in becoming his forever home.
He really is a nice dog, just rather like a 3 month old in a 50 lb body!
We like him a lot. I am worried he is bonding to me too much. He loves his toys, riding in the car and going for long walks.
October 10, 2009:
Thor went to his new home today. Nice folks and the attraction was mutual .. he hopped right into their car.
We are all hoping this is the beginning of his new life and it will be a long happy one. The family lost their old elkhound last summer so are familiar with the breed.
