This site was created for those who love the breed as much as we do! The "Dual Nature" of the Dogo Argentino is incredible. The Dogo can metemorph from a fearless hunter into a loving family member. They are natural guardians and protectors of their families. The Dogo is a very intellingent animal with a high prey drive. The dogo is first and foremost a "BIG" game hunting breed, that was bred to hunt wild boar and pumas. However, it can adapt to most environments as any breed can. The Dogo is not a breed for the novice...please take your time to do your research before even considering a DOGO for your family. If you are not willing to put the time and energy into a new dogo then please consider another breed that does not take as much. We are firm believers that the dogo needs to be worked. We are aware that location is a factor that can hinder hunting. If you are set on adding a dogo to your family please provide some form of exercise on a daily basis. Remember a bored Dogo is a destructive dogo. We hope you enjoy our site, for we are truly devoted to our Dogos...
