First and foremost and I am NOT a dog lover, I am not a dog hater, but all my life I have never been fond of dogs. I have suffered from allergies my whole life and so pets were something that just wasn’t a part of me.
My daughter, age 11, an only child, begged and pleaded for a dog. I of course had all the good reasons for no dog, allergies, training, messy, huge responsibility and so forth.

However, I started allergy shots and start doing research about good breeds for people with allergies, and ultimately came up with the Maltese. Then the hard part, was finding a Maltese. My friend came across Shea's website and then I knew it, she would have my dog.

Right before Christmas my friend and I went to Shea's house, and she had two females left... (Mia and Titan's) they were so tiny and cute, but, I all I could think of is, ya, she cute now, but she won’t be that cute forever. Shea was awesome, she let me take my time at her house, answered all my questions, I knew that If I got this little puppy, I would not be alone. I had Shea, and she was only a phone call or email away.

As the story goes, I picked out our Abby, and went and got her just a few days before Christmas.

Let me tell you, I LOVE THIS DOG!!! She is a part of the family and everything I ever thought negative about dogs, is gone. She sleeps with me, she goes everywhere with us as a family, and I can't even imagine life without her!! She is completely adorable, forever cute I am sure!!! Such a good personality, smart and genuinely loved by our whole family.

So, there it is... Shea is wonderful, and she has wonderful beautiful dogs, and if you are wondering about a Maltese, as far as I am concerned they are the perfect breed, and Shea is the perfect person to get your precious new family member!

Update to our little angels story: 8/29/07
My boyfriend and I both have Shea's puppies. My boyfriend first purchased "Lil Dude" in March and then bought me a little boy in May. These little angels are gorgeous and so loving. After we got our little boy home we found out that he was definitely going to be a teacup! He was so tiny and fragile and I was very concerned that I would not be there if he needed any extra attention during the day since I work. (little teacups do require a lot of extra attention). Long story short - my best friend purchased the little boy since she would be able to watch him during the day and give him the special care he needed. We then purchased our little "Ruby" from Shea. She is just as precious as my boyfriends "Lil Dude" and "Gizmo" (the teacup Maltese)!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lil Dude is now 7 months and Ruby is 4 months. When we initially took them to the vet we were told they were very healthy and the vet even told me that he liked Shea very much and she was one of the best breeders around! He is absolutely right - Shea will help you with anything and is always there to answer any questions you might have. We will always be good references for Shea! I'm sure everyone that has a puppy from Shea will agree - these are the best little angels around!!!! Both my boyfriend and I can not imagine our life without them! Thanks again Shea!

We had to write to let everyone know how much enjoyment Shea has brought to us. We met her in March when my boyfriend stopped to see her litter of precious puppies. A few weeks later he stopped again and bought our first little Maltese "Lil Dude". He is just perfect. Shea helped us with all kinds of questions. We would call her anytime and she was so helpful. She would bring us medicine or little collars or anything that she felt we needed. She even drove "Lil Dude" to Houston for us one weekend. "Lil Dude" is now 4 months old and a bundle of joy. My boyfriend decided to get me my very own since I cried every time they left my house. Last weekend, Shea brought 4 puppies to my house so I could get to know them and see which one I took to - well, actually - which one took to me! I kept them all day and did not want to take them home.I wanted all four of them. Since that's not possible - I chose the little boy and will pick him up tomorrow. Shea is so genuinely caring about her animals - she will do anything to make you and your new puppy become comfortably acquainted. When you see her puppies and adults - you know they have been given excellent care and most importantly - Love!

First of all, Shea is the most wonderful breeder you could find. She loves her puppies so much and wants the best for them. She has gone out of her way for me and has become a friend. She is honest, trustworthy and very knowledgeable about Maltese puppies and the breed itself. I found her on the internet and I am so glad I picked her to buy my puppies from. We are so happy we got our little Daisy from Shea!! Shea is a WONDERFUL person/breeder and is always there when we need her! This is our first time with a little puppy and Shea has made it so much fun. Daisy gets along well with our 15 yr. old pet Mickey. We searched for a breeder for months before we found Shea. If you are at all like me, you are very skeptical about finding a truly trustworthy breeder. I had met with several breeders and knew that they were not the people that I wanted to buy my puppy from… and then I met Shea!! She is fantastic!! She cares so much about every one of her grown dogs & their puppies. She is honest and very easy to talk to. I plan on buying several other puppies from her and believe me; I never thought that I would say that!!

My puppy (Chowder) has absolutely been the best little guy ever! Right now he is 12 weeks – weighs 2.2 lbs. – and is fully potty trained to use puppy pads. I cannot promise that this will be the same for every puppy, but I can tell you that Shea does everything within her control to make absolutely sure that you get the best of the best when it comes to puppies. I wanted a special little dog and was having trouble deciding between a yorkie and a maltese. I visited with several people I knew that had purchased 3 malteses from Shea. I watched these puppies and saw their sweet disposition for several weeks when I finally called Shea .in about March of 2006. I asked her if she might have a (accident dog) where the breeds got together by accident. She said "no but call me back in the fall because my friend with a yorkie may breed her dog to one of my maltese". I talked to Shea several times until she actually had Madison and every time I would ask all kinds of questions and she would listen and answer every one. Shea is the sweetest, kindest and most informative breeder I have every talked to. The last year and a half I have talked to many breeders and not one was as helpful with breed information and care as Shea. In November 2006 I thought I would finally get the chance to purchase the puppy I had always wanted. Shea's Madison had a puppy but he looked so much like a yorkie that he had to have a DNA run just to make sure that he was Titan's puppy. As my heart was heavy while awaiting the results of this test Shea reassured me that if he was not what I wanted that she would help me find another little dog. Shea checked newspapers and the internet and gave me numbers to call and internet address to check for other puppies. Shea is not just raising puppies but giving all she has to make sure that the customer is happy with a furry loving friend. In February 2007 after almost a year of waiting I had my puppy and a new friend too. I can's say enough good things about Shea and the kind of breeder she is. I love my Fuzzie, he is a wonderful, lovable and playful companion. and I owe that all to Shea. THANK YOU SHEA !!!!!!!
