Puppy Guarantee
This puppy is guaranteed to be in good health. However to validate this guarantee, you the buyer must have your new puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of the date of this contract (Sunday is excluded). If your veterinarian finds anything seriously wrong with this puppy, it will be exchanged for another, provided a letter from the examining veterinarian is brought as evidence of the puppy’s condition, and the puppy is returned within 24 hours of the examination. I reserve the right to have my own veterinarian re-examine the puppy. Only serious defects, which are life-threatening and/or incurable constitutes exchange of a puppy. Failure to return the puppy will void this contract. No exchanges will be made after this period. I will not be responsible for any veterinarian charges, you the buyer incur. I the undersigned seller, assume no responsibility after the puppy leaves this premises for any change of mind on the owner’s part. Under no circumstance may the puppy be euthanized without prior written consent from the seller. Failure to obtain consent in advance will cause this agreement to immediately become null and void.
I guarantee your puppy for 12 months from its date of birth against all life-threatening or permanently debilitating congenital disorders. In such unlikely case of death a written & signed statement with autopsy must be submitted by a licensed veterinarian before the puppy will be replaced. Uneven bites, undescended testicles, inguinal or umbilical hernias and other non-life threatening disorders are not covered. Puppies are susceptible to infections and common illnesses. This guarantee does not cover hypoglycemia, diarrhea, wormy stools, kennel cough, coccidia, giardia, fleas, ticks, or ear mites. All of these illnesses can be treated with medication from your veterinarian & are all are common puppy problems. They do not constitute a defective puppy.
There is no guarantee of breed ability, show quality, size, coat quality, temperament or adaptability. I encourage you to spay or neuter your pet. No portion of the purchase price, in part or in full, will be refunded/nor will Seller be responsible for any veterinary expenses, or any other expenses incurred by the purchaser. Returned puppies must be in good condition other than the specified problem. Any physical problem, which could be a result of an injury, or human error, is not covered. Purchaser also agrees not to place said puppy in a shelter for any reason. In the event you can no longer keep the puppy he or she may try to resale, or bring the puppy back to me. No refunds will be made.
Buyer has read and understands the puppy guarantee and acknowledges that there will be no cash refund, and that there will be no reimbursement for any veterinary fees.
