Strathaird comprises of only a few much loved Goldens. We have been extremely careful in selecting our breeding stock, which includes many of the finest British, Australian and New Zealand bloodlines available. This allows us to produce sound, healthy, typical Golden Retrievers that are suitable for all disciplines including showing, obedience and agility, but first and foremost loveable family companions.
Our Goldens here at Strathaird are beloved members of our family. Those that live with my partner John and I (Justine) in Auckland, live along side my Birman cats; Mitzi and Panda. Our dogs who reside with my parents Barbara and Greg over in Otago also share their lives with a menagerie of cats, rabbits and a goldfish. Our breeding programme is a family affaire in which we all take pride.
We are members of the New Zealand Kennel Club, Southern Golden Retriever Club, The Golden Retriever Club (Auckland), The Golden Retriever Club (UK), Auckland All Breeds Dog Training Club, and subscribe to the Kennel Gazette (UK).
