Child/Junior Handling

Janelle and Matthew at Child, Junior handling and breed showing

Janelle showing Kintyre in 2003 - both still very young, but the potential came true

Competing again after several years, this time under Nancy Russell in June 2007

Child and Junior Showmanship is a competition offered at kennel cub sponsored dogs shows for boys and girls between various ages. Its purpose is to introduce you to the sport of dog showing, to provide class designed to help you develop and improve dog handling skills. Judging is based solely on your ability ro present your dog properly.

Janelle and Matthew have both competed and done well in South Africa. This has also provided them with a good foundation and confidence in dealing with and presenting various different dogs and breeds, both in handling and breed classes
