Our first golden retriever, Sinenen Silas, CDX, became an important member of our family in November 1982. Silas was the very best of ambassadors for this beautiful breed with his wonderful temperament and strong desire to please. He introduced us to the fun of obedience trials and, although never shown, he certainly provided the motivation for our inevitable venture into the show ring with our first "show" golden Aust Ch Miaura Hi Society (Alice).

Andre and I have now enjoyed a long association with the golden retriever. We have always been keen to live with and to produce healthy, typical golden retrievers in our breeding endeavours. We strongly support the canine screening programmes for inherited disease in the hips, elbows, eyes and heart. Our goldens are, though, our family companions first and foremost.

We are members of the ACT Canine Association, Dogs NSW, the Golden Retriever Club of NSW, the ACT Gundog Society and associate members of the Golden Retriever Club (United Kingdom).
