Achievements:
Major finished his championship by going WD for 5 points under Bruce McLean at the GRCBC specialty show. At 24" and 85lbs Major is a powerful dog full of life and love. Major is producing his lovely temperament, front and gorgeous head.
Major came out to play at the GRCC 2009 National Specialty under breeder-judge Gloria Kerr. He came away with a JAM and lots of complements from judges and exhibitors alike. I think he likes showing more each time he comes out.
Major had lots of fun at the Lower Mainland Dog Fanciers Shows (largest indoor show in Canada) in October, 2008. He went BOB and Group 3--his tail never stopped wagging.
Major has grown some coat and came out at Ladies KC of BC on Jan 27, 2008 to win Group 2 from the classes! That makes him the third generation in a row to take a group placement on the way to his championship. Not to be outdone, his daughter Oriana Yardley Classic, owned by Barrie and Ainslie Mills, went BOS for 5 points and finished her championship at just shy of one year of age.
Flash: Major's son Auburnmist Special Blend was winner's dog and Best Opposite on April 6, 2007, followed it on April 7 with BW and then won the puppy group on April 8 and he did it all at the tender age of 7 months! Congratulations to Wendy Petkau and "Tim"
Congratulations to Tim--he's now Major's first champion!
Flash: Major's daughter Oriana Yardley Classic took a 5 point BOW and went on to win the puppy group from the junior puppy class at the Kamloops dog shows on the same weekend as the GRCBC specialty!
Flash: Tim's done his dad proud again. He took BOS in sweepstakes at the GRCA National. Congratulations to Wendy on breeding this gorgeous boy!
