A short Introduction about 'model horses' the hobby is VERY big in the USA, & is starting to become big in other parts of the world including Australia, Englans, Germany etc..

The main brand of model horses are 'Breyer' 'Peter Stone' & 'Hartland' - prices can range from under $10 - up to the thousands, with many top equine artists customising the models as well as artist resins, many collectors swoop on them & many artist do have waiting lists.

I got my first Breyer in 1987 which was the now retired #89 'Black Beauty' & was hooked,it is a good hobby for those people that can not afford a 'real' horse or pony, & also a great way to learn about other breeds that you don't normally come across.

There are clubs that you can join, where you can show your models in halter, english, western, harness, costume, etc....

I had a large collection, but due to my divorce & expenses had to sell most of them, but have a few old favorites & have started to buy the odd occasional model, & am looking forward to getting back into this hobby.

Any questions feel free to ask.

& now onto my models, enjoy!
