I first saw pepper when I was walking back after putting away yet 'another' pony I had been leasing to see if we got along but was about to go back as was unsuitable, my mother was talking with a girl on a light dapple grey pony.
I was introduced & was told that Mr Pepper was for sale & was asked if I would like a short ride, I knew as soon as I got on that he was the one.

Pepper was brought & I know the early days it was trial & error, until we moved over to Miss Young's who was a dressage instructor who has been trained in England & helped me out alot with my riding.

Pepper was a good pony but boy could he buck & many a time I used to be thown off, but he taught me so much, he didn'tlike shows & unless I rode him forward would throw me, I am so glad mum didn't sell him :)

Pepper loved to jump & though small he could jump a a 24gallon barrel standing up & I had witnessed him jumping over a wooden fence higher than him to follow anotherpony one day.

His only Royal he dumped me & nearly knocked the judge over, before coming abck to get 2nd place in the Novice pony, he also won at jumping competitions beating horses bigger than himself, & he love ODE's & my happiest win was getting 2nd place at one & being the smallest pony entered.

He also LOVED being in harness & nothing phazed him, he used to love going in the paddock & would try to chase the others who where terrified of him & I think he knew it, pepper alos loved to come inside the house & ANY time the door was open he'd be in there eating anything eh could then standing in front of the tv watching it, in fact he'd look through the glass doors at the tv.

Pepper had been there throigh everything for me & in February 14th 2006 he was put to rest, leading up was very hard for both of us, I know its strange but we both seemd to know it was the right time, I know the night before I went out late into the night & just sat on him & cried, I was there for him on the day though he had been there for me, so I knew it was my turn to help him, I know we will meet again over "Rainbow Bridge" & will both be younger in spirit.

Time my pass but you will always be with part of me, thanks for being there for me through the good times & the bad.

Pepper is buried next to Skeet & Joe with a Woolamena Pine,
