UPDATES of the year so far
March 2006 is already upon us.
The site has been very quiet over the last three months with Christmas holidays, litters of puppies and the unfortunate illness and subsequent hospitalisation of my husband Mike. Things are now looking on the up for Mike and this has allowed me (Rebecca) some time to get things back up to speed.
Baby News:
With the Goldens ?
-Litter of 7 lovely puppies to Liza and Anzac born in Dec and now off to their loving homes.
-Geneva and Cory?s Auckland babies went off to their new homes to cause trouble 3 days before Christmas!
With the Shelties ?
-Babies Babies Babies, having not had many sheltie puppies for sometime ? litters of just one, we have been lucky enough to have some lovely litters of puppies
-Sybil and Victors puppies were born in Dec and so too where Viv and Bonds -Both these litters were lovingly cared for by, and at, Glyness Taylor?s
-More recently in Feb Tilly had a golden retriever size litter of SEVEN fat healthy puddings!
-Unfortunately are new girl on the block, Pride, has not managed to get to any of the shows in Auckland due to Mike?s illness. But her first outing on new years day in Christchurch did provide plenty of bouncy entertainment. We hope to have her out in the ring again soon.
Also news from the New Years Day shows, Dream (sheltie) got her first challenge and Pierre (golden) went baby puppy of group. Dream has now dropped her coat in time for the cold weather? go figure!
I will have some pics up in the litter sections as time allows. Show results for our dogs are likely to be a little lacking for the next wee while, due to Mike?s illness and now having to catch up on work, I was off for 6 weeks to look after him. Same goes on the Christchurch front, as Mum kindly parted with Dad for 3 weeks to help me in Auckland, leaving her with all the farm to care for and no time for entry forms!
