Number seven for Ashby & Mac's first shows
Ashby gained her seventh cc at the weekend at a very wet and cold Huntly show. She also went Best of Breed.
This was the first weekend back for Mike and I, and was a shock to the system coming from the 35+ degree summer in Europe to the wet, cold and muddy spring. This was also Mac's first weekend of shows and his last in baby puppy. As the only baby, he went BPB at all the shows, but as a typical goldie puppy, with all bits growing at different speeds, he was well beaten in the group lineups.
In time we will all manage to gather our thoughts and do a little write up about how time at The Gathering and the GRC show, along with plenty of pics. But till then... it was an awesome time, met up with many from my time living over there and many new people. Mike learnt lots and was a little shell shocked. Mum and I had a great time looking at all the dogs, pedigrees and catching up on who is doing what and how things have been going. Also our trip to see family in Ireland was wonderful and of course Mike and I had great time in Europe.
But for now, we are back to work, lots of shows (every weekend til the end of Oct) and we still haven't unpacked!!
