Cardiwest Puppies	1 week old and growing

Cardiwest is proud to announce the safe delivery of 10 healthy puppies from our Eagle - Gemma mating. Puppies were born on Sunday 24th January 2010 and we have 4 boys and 6 girls, all Black and White, some with Tan Points and some with Brindle Points. I will add more photos as time goes by.

7th February 2010 - Puppies are 2 weeks old and growing well. Gemma is a wonderfully attentive Mum and her babies are thriving. They have doubled their birth weight, eyes are starting to open and ears will soon follow. Today they had their first dose of worming medicine and had their nails clipped. I have had to increase the barrier to the whelping box as a couple have made their escape if they think Mum is on the other side.

Cardiwest Puppies	3 weeks old and growing

14th February 2010 - Puppies are 3 weeks old today. They are growing well and have trebled their Birth Weights; all have their eyes open and are beginning to respond to sound. They have had their first cereal/mince meals with which they made a huge mess. Fortunately Mum did the cleaning up.

Cardiwest Puppies	5 weeks old - the boys

21st February 2010 - Puppies are 4 weeks old today. They are growing so quickly. All have eyes and ears open and are ready to explore their world. They have lots of sharp little teeth and like to test them. Today they were all wormed, brushed and had their nails cut. It was also a day of big adventure as they felt the grass under their feet for the first time.

Cardiwest Puppies	6 weeks old

February 28th 2010 the Puppies were 5 weeks old. I cannot believe how the time has flown. They are almost fully weaned; just having the occasional drink from Mum. They are very clean and most toilet in a separate place away from their playing area. They love to go and run in the grass.

March 21st - Puppies are now 8 weeks old and have developed into little adults. They have been vaccinated and vet checked. They eats lots, play a lot and sleep in between. But they are totally delightful and will soon be going to their new homes. I'm sorry I'm a bit behind with getting photos up. We currently have 2 males still available.

Cardiwest Puppies	King of the Castle

7th March 2010 - 6 weeks old and going strong. Soon time for vaccinations. Today they were weighed, wormed, had their nails done, spent time in the sun then slept. What a life. They had their first bath yesterday - I don't think they were too impressed.
