Achievements:
Photo taken 2004. Registered with the International English Shepherd Registry (IESR) and United Kennel Club (UKC). Jet black. I've always admired Ann & Jim Beebe's Sheppies, and vowed to have one of my own one day. BOOTS was that dog. Beebe dogs are well-known for their wonderful temperaments, and BOOTS soon became my "Jesus dog" -- the dog who loved everybody. She was a nice substantial girl, who weighed 58 pounds at 1 year of age. BOOTS whelped one litter, sired by CHAZ. She developed life-threatening mastitis soon afterwards, and she was retired from breeding. I rehomed BOOTS on a Cameron, Louisiana, cattle ranch. It was a great home until Hurricane Rita picked that exact spot to come ashore. Since then I've been unable to locate BOOTS or her owner. News reports say Cameron was completely wiped out by the storm surge. I pray my sweet, gentle BOOTS is somewhere safe.
