'Kalora Kennels' was established in 1985 but prior to this we bred under the 'Jambomoselle' prefix.
Here at Kalora we breed for true breed type and outstanding correct movement. In recent years our dogs have excelled in the show ring, consistently taking Best Of Breed awards & 'In Group' & 'In Show' awards. Our dogs are happy and healthy & given all the love in the world. We pride ourselves with the quality we have produced recently. A lot of hard work & research goes into our litters prior to mating our girls.
Kalora Kennels is made up of my mum Wendy, my sister Rachel & myself Rebecca. We acquired our first Cardigan Corgi CH. Cambrian Wizard O'Oz in 1989 & my foundation bitch CH. Vashka Bedazled in 1996.
In more recent years we have produced the gorgeous brindle boy GRAND CHAMPION Kalora Bandelero, CH. Kalora Ffantasia a lovely blue-merle bitch.
The past few years have been very quiet on the show scene but with our newbies we will be out again in full force in 2010!
Our first Pembroke joined us at the end of 2002, a stunning tri boy, Elstad No Regrets. Currently campaigning his daughter Kaldra Fickle N Free who has taken the show ring by storm & has her Daddy's lovely side movement. Miquay's son Leo is a stunning boy with a gorgeous temperment.
Rachel has been actively involved with Dobermanns since 1998. Rachel's first 'show' Dobermann was a lovely strong brown & tan bitch Aust. GRAND Champion Walamara Why Wonder, Barb & Ian Alexander's first female Grand Champion!
Jas was not our first Dobe however, we had a black boy whilst we were growing up & thus started Rachels love affair with this majestic breed.
Prior to the Corgi's & the Dobes we were actively involved with Keeshonds breeding under the Kalora prefix. We started off in the show world in the early 1980's with German Shepherds breeding under the Jambomoselle prefix.
