Kato

Achievements:
Kato's show career started here in South Australia, where he was primarily shown by his sire's owner, picking up many In Group and In Show awards. In late 2004 he went to live in Victoria, with some beginners to the show world, where he was continued to be shown successfully to his Championship title. The mark of a well-conformed dog with a sound temperament is that it can be easily and successfully exhibited by a complete beginner, and Kato certainly fits the bill in this regard. He has a stable, calm temperament, and retrieves eagerly from land or water. Kato exhibits all the attributes to be able to compete successfully in the Obedience ring, or at retrieving trials. He has recently started his retrieving career, with a couple of placings so far. His critique from the last GSP National show where he won the Intermediate Dog class: "Medium eye colour. Dentition correct. Strong male with very good head. Very good set ears. Excellent reach. Very good topline. Slight dip in back. Front and hind movement correct. Conformation excellent." He is a very supple and long-striding dog, with a confident and upstanding temperament. Kato is now back here in SA where he may be selectively shown.
