Golden Pawz Retrievers is now getting started, we may be very new, but have owned Golden Retrievers and Labrador Retrievers our whole lives. I have always wanted to get involved with showing and Obedience competition. Our goal is to get into Obedience and other Performance trials as soon as we can.
Golden Retrievers make the perfect family pet, they enjoy being part of the family. They crave love and affection. Companionship is their top priority and they are totally devoted to their human family. They are a very adaptable, multi purpose dog. They are used in a wide area of purposes: as Guide dogs for the blind, helping with disabled and in search and rescue situations.
The Golden Retrievers attributes are: Good looking, mellow temperament, intelligent, wanting to please attitude toward your every need.
Our pets enjoy the outdoors each day, running, playing and swimming. There are many facets of the Golden you can enjoy. With Golden Retrievers, simple obedience and agility training will provide you with a combined family pet, showing and gun dog.
The Golden Retriever is a very intelligent breed, but it is best not to let him train you. I recommend you take the time to take your puppy or dog to an obedience school/trainer.
