My stunning youngster Romi, arrived from the UK in Aug 2006 and spent that month in quarantine. Thanks to the super generosity of Heather Morss of Xanthos fame I am able to add the outstanding bloodlines of Romi's to my kennels. Her French father compliments her English mother but between them they showcase bloodlines from many countries.
Pictured above at 21 months of age.
Romi had a lovely litter to Aust Grand Ch Tulzean Autumn Tango and young Mason stayed (Ch Kaparla Wicketkeeper).
She was placed 3rd in Intermediate bitch at the Tas GRC show in Nov 2008. She is enjoying life swimming in the dam at Kingston but hates the show ring. Here is her critique from Beryl Liggins:
"Lovely type with feminine head and soft expression. Good neck and front angulation, well ribbed body with level topline, would prefer a little more length of leg to balance up, strong well angulated rear giving very sound movement."
Romi was placed 2nd in Junior under Henric Fryckstrand in Sept. Her critique: "Mature bitch who is nicely put together but could do with a bit more length of leg. Well balanced head, excellent neck, good forehand construction, lovely bone and feet. Well sprung ribs. Would prefer a more level back on the move. Well off for hind angulation. Moves OK but could have more sparkle and more style. Lovely coat. Looks lovely free standing with a waggy tail."
She was placed 2nd in Minor Puppy Class at the Tas GR National Nov 2006.
View pics of her at the National in her own Album.
Critique of Mr Peter Mills:
"Attractive pale bitch, pushed 1 hard. Well chiselled head with good pigment, powerful sweeping neck, level topline, well constructed, presenting a beautiful outline. Moved straight and true with drive."
Her 1st show out of quarantine in Sydney resulted in a 3rd place from Baby Puppy bitch under Anne Nerell from Sweden. Her Critique:
"Very sweet and attractive. Well made. Needs more confidence in the ring."
