Awarding Best in Show and Rup Best in Show at the Central GRC Show in NZ
On the 3rd July 2004 I successfully passed my final exams to become a fully qualified Championship and Open Licenced Gundog judge.
This effectively means I am also a Golden Retriever Breed Specialist.
On July 4th 2005 I passed my final exams for the Hound Group at Championship Level.
I am now able to award Challenge Certificates in many countries of the world to all dogs in the Gundog and Hound Groups.
I was honoured to be invited to judge the Central Golden Retriever Club Specialty Wellington NZ on April 30th 2005. I thoroughly enjoyed this appointment where the exhibitors were enthusiastic and gracious and their dogs were well presented and full of quality.
On May 1st I judged the Wellington Labrador Retriever Club Specialty and was also delighted to have many quality Labradors brought out for exhibition.
June 25th saw me in Melbourne Victoria at the Canine Amenities Show, at the Royal Melbourne Showgrounds judging many super Gundogs.
On July 23rd I was invited to oversee Gundogs at the Royal Showgrounds Amenities Show in Hobart.
In December I was delighted to officiate for the TCA at their Xmas Show in Launceston Tasmania, and judge Hounds for the first time at Championship Show level.
I judged almost 250 Gundogs at County of Cumberland All Breeds Champ Show in Sydney NSW on Anzac Day 2006 in April with a super entry of some 77 stunning goldens; and then travelled to Victoria in August to judge.
In March 2007 I travelled to the Victorain country to Noorat to judge over 130 Gundogs; I headed to Perth, Western Australia to judge the Labrador and German Shorthaired Pointer Specialties in June, then to Brisbane in August where I judged Gundogs again.
In April 2008 I was invited to South Australia to judge Groups 3 and 4. I had the privilege of going over many super dogs.

In July I successfully passed my Group 2 Championship Show Prac exam and was awarded my Group 2 licence at Champ Show level. I am now studying Group 7 and have passed groups 7 and 1 at open Show level.
I am looking forward to judging Group 2 for the first time at the TCA Xmas show in december.
