'GOLDEN DAYS'
Clairedoree goldens now enjoy life in Cookernup, a small rural town overlooking the Darling Range in the beautiful SW of WA, near Harvey, 2hrs south of Perth. More cows here (Harvey Fresh;o)than kangaroos, mobs of 28-parrots, red-tailed black cockatoos & even Peter,a resident peacock to tease the dogs!
My darling Hamish 'the hairy haggis' has sadly gone to Rainbow Bridge to join Dandy who died tragically young last year too. There are still a few new young ones from their lines, so they do live on.
We dont get to many shows these days as we're enjoying semi-retirement in the country! Come inside to see what the furry-family' are up too, there's still never a dull moment.
The last 2 'pups' to stay home are my little miracles Riversong & then Echo who is getting to go to a few shows. We even made the Royal show this year!Photo in , My Pics';o)
Our story: Chris & I had our very first Golden,Skyedale Blitzer, just after we were wed
& living in West Auckland, Co Durham, in England
before emigrating to Australia in '74.
After some years (& a few mad cocker spaniels;o))we decided to get another lovely Goldie for the boys.
Jessie (Dancingate Tarsus Carol) joined our family as a pet & went on to
become the foundation bitch behind my 8
Clairedoree Champions & G.G.Grandam of our first Grand Champion Cello.
Jessie left us at the wonderful age of 15, forever on the beach at Golden Bay, where else!.
Jess, you'll always be my first champion.
