More Tracking Success - Another tracking title for a Morningmyst Golden!!!!!
Monday 13th July 2009 - MORNINGMYST TIME LORD gained his TRACKING DOG TITLE.!!!!!!
Congratulations to Brad and Simba on passing their Tracking Test 2 at the Tracking Club of Victoria's tracking trial at Broadford, Victoria.

TRACK AND SEARCH!!
On the 4th, 5th and 6th July 2009 the Tracking Club of Victoria held the first Track & Search Trial in Victoria. This discipline is only open to dogs that have already gained their Tracking Champion Title.
Lynn entered both Rory and Connor (father and son) and competed on Saturday 4th July. It has been a while since either of the boys have been in harness tracking but they both had an absolute ball and did extremely well passing their TSD1 tests. Rory with an EXCELLENT and Connor with a GOOD, just goes to show that the old dog can show the young dog how to do it!!!! We are thrilled to bits with their efforts!

CONGRATUALATIONS TO MORNINGMYST TIME LORD and Brad on passing their Tracking Test 2 at Eastern Suburbs tracking trial on Sunday 28.6.09 with a grading of Very Good.
This was the first time Brad had handled Simba at a tracking trial so we are very thrilled with their success.
We wait with anticipation on their next tracking trial where they will be tracking to gain their Tracking Dog Title.

CONGRATULATIONS to TRACKING CHAMPION MORNINGMYST HEAVENSCENT.
Maddie is an excellent tracking dog and together with Gary have gained their Tracking Champion Title at the Golden Retriever Cluyb of Victoria restricted to Group 3 tracking tria on Saturday 23rd May 2009 with a grading of EXCELLENT.
Maddie is the first Morningmyst Golden to have gained a Tracking Champion Title who has not been trained and handled by Lynn so this title is even more special because of this.
We thank Gary and Julie for sharing their lives with Maddie; she has grown into a beautiful GOLDEN girl who loves unconditionaly and is loved as much in return. Special thanks to Gary for his training and excellent handling skills with Maddie in tracking.

Obedience News at Morningmyst
ANOTHER TITLE AT MORNINGMYST GOLDENS.
Congratulations to our gorgeous young Connor on gaining his third and final pass to achieve his Community Companion Title at Southern Obedience Dog Club morning trial on Saturday 15th November 2008.
With a score of 84 points. Well done my little man!!! Now onto Novice..................
4th November 2008 - Northcote Obedience Trial - Congratulations to Connor and Lynn on gaining their 2nd pass in the CCD Ring with a score of 93 points and 2nd place in the ring. Clever little man!!!
Congratulations to T.Ch. MORNINGMYST HIGHLANDER, Connor, who together with Lynn entered their first obedience trial at the Golden Retriever Club of Victoria's restricted to Group 3 obedience trial on Saturday 11th October 2008. They entered the Community Companion Class and were not only first in the ring......scary with a new dog.....but they also gained their first pass towards their CCD title and won the ring with a score of 88 points!!!
It was a day of firsts all round.
Also doing extremely well at the GRCV obedience trial was one of Rory's (T.Ch. Winterset Impressions CD) daughter's T. CH. GOORAMBAT CALAMITY JANE aka Nala, who together with Greg entered their first obedience trial in the Novice Class and were absolutely outstanding, they gained their first pass and won the ring with a score of 195 points out of 200. They were awarded the trophy for Highest Scoring Golden Retriever in Trial and also Highest Scoring in the entire Trial................simply wonderful....she is a delight and a credit to Greg and his wonderful training, a wonderful team at whatever they do.
Nala, followed up the next day at Knox Obedience Dog Club and gained her second pass to her Novice Title with a class winning score of 198 points, what a brilliant little worker she is. Congratulations to Greg and Nala on such an outstanding score. Nala & Greg are simply poetry in motion to watch in the obedience ring.

Willow joins her Dad, Mum, Aunty and Brother having gained the title of Tracking Champion at Morningmyst.

T. Ch. Fernamber Edynn entered her first obedience trial on Sunday 13th April 2008 at the Weimaraner Restricted to Group 3 Obedience Trial in the Community Companion Class and gained a pass and third place in the ring with a score of 84 points.

Monday 27th August 2007 - Tracking Club of Victoria Inc. Tracking Trial - Inverleigh.
Our wonderful puppies Willow and Connor have done it again! At the age of just eighteen months the 'kids' have gained more titles and Connor has become a TRACKING CHAMPION!!! Outstanding achievement!!
Willow & Lynn gained their TRACKING DOG EXCELLENT TITLE when they passed their Test 5 track with a grading of GOOD. The day was hot and windy but our gorgeous little girl did a nice job.
Connor & Lynn also competed on the day in extremely hot conditions in the Inverleigh bush. Connor was amazing, he never gave up, even though the conditions were the hardest I have ever tracked my dogs in, in all my years in the sport. The humidity in the bush was extremely high but he worked it all out to pass his Test 6 tracking test and gain his TRACKING CHAMPION TITLE with a grading of GOOD. He is an gorgeous and amazing Golden. Well done my little man!!!!!!

Huge Congratulations to Connor & Lynn on gaining their TRACKING DOG EXCELLENT TITLE when they passed their Test 5 track at Haddon.
Connor was just 17 months at the time of gaining his TDX Title.....CONGRATULATIONS CLEVER CONNOR!!!!
Monday 9th July 2007 - Tracking Club of Victoria Inc Tracking Trial - Broadford/Pyalong
Congratulations to Connor & Lynn on passing their T4 test with a grading of VERY GOOD. Connor worked extremely well in the wind on the day.
Congratulations also to our darling Willow who with Lynn on the end of the lead also passed her T4 test with a grading of GOOD. Which was an excellent effort considering the paddock was covered with sheep when the track was being laid and there was a very smelly dead kangaroo off to one side on the first leg.
What a joy they both are!

Monday 11th June 2007 - GSDCV Inc Tracking Trial - Haddon via Ballarat
Congratulations to my wonderful puppies Connor and Willow on yet again showing me how talented they are.
Connor & Lynn did a "blinder "of a T3 test and were awarded an EXCELLENT grading by the judge.
Willow together with Lynn also did a lovely job of their T3 test but Willow had a few problems towards the end of the test but she worked them out to gain a pass with a grading of Good.
They are both amazing Golden Retrievers. Well done CONNOR & WILLOW!!!!
Monday 28th May 2007 - Two new Tracking Dog Titles at Morningmyst.
Congratulations to both Willow and Connor on gaining their Tracking Dog Titles at the Golden Retriever Club of Victoria Inc. Restricted to Group 3 Tracking Trial. Both are only 15 months and loving tracking. Each passed their Test 1 tracks Connor with a Very Good and Willow with a grading of Good, then we took up the opportunity to track-on on the day for Test 2 passes. Willow was first to pass her Test 2 with a grading of Good while Connor was raring to track again and passed his Test 2 with a grading of Very Good!
It was also great that another two of Rory's -daughters from a litter with Piper from Goorambat Kennels also did extremely well with Avalon - Goorambat Belle Star - also tracking on to gain her Tracking Dog Title on 26th May with excellent gradings for both her Test 1 & Test 2 passes. Nala - Goorambat Calamity Jane - also tracked on 26th May and passed her Test 1 with a grading of Very Good. Both Nala and Avalon are 18 months old.

We have even bigger news now - We have another Tracking Champion at Morningmyst.
Edynn & Lynn passed their tracking test 6 on Sunday 21st May 2006 also at the Golden Retriever Club of Victoria Inc. restricted to Gundogs Tracking Trial held at Inverleigh with a grading of Good.
Edynn is now a TRACKING CHAMPION!!!! What a wonderful Golden she is, just thirteen and half weeks after whelping a litter of eight gorgeous puppies and being a super Mum, she has returned to tracking trials in such style. She certainly is a true CHAMPION!!!..T. CH. FERNAMBER EDYNN
We have exciting news here at Morningmyst - Rory & Lynn passed their tracking test 5 on Saturday 20th May 2006 at the Golden Retriever Club of Victoria Inc. restricted to Gundogs Tracking Trial held at Inverleigh with a grading of Good. This now means that Rory has achieved the title of Tracking Dog Excellent.

Winterset Impressions CD TD (Rory) passed his tracking test 4 at the Knox Obedience Dog Club tracking trial held at Haddon, which is just outside Ballarat in Victoria, with a grading of VERY GOOD.

Another highlight of the Golden Retreiver Club Tracking Trial was that Edynn's grandmother April gained her Tracking Dog Title, her mother Teagan passed her tracking tests 3 & 4 and is now only one away from a TDX title, and then on the same day as Edynn gained her Tracking Champion Title, her sister Fernamber Echo (Teaka) gained her Tracking Dog Title. This photos was taken following presentations on 21st May 2006.
It was certainly a great GOLDEN weekend at the tracking trial!!!

We had yet another highlight on the day Rory became a Tracking Champion and that was that our friend Eva and her delighful dog Jesse also gained a Test 6 pass to become a Tracking Champion.
We have a little tracking training group we all attend so it was great that two members gained the ultimate tracking title on the same day.
