Our History
This successful kennel was founded in 1971 with English Setters and went on to add Great Danes in 1989 under the kennel name Stylish.
In 1999 the addition of Yacanto Dato Star (Blade)from England proved to seal the sucess for us and we have gone from strength to strength with using his truly international bloodlines.
We are proud to be linked with the Yacanto Kennel - UK. And will always be thankful to Diana Bousfield for sending Blade to us and for the strong friendship this has produced.
We will continue to strive for excellence in both mind and body in this wonderful breed.
Since December 2002 we have the kennel name of Yacanto (NZ). Thank you Diana for allowing us the use of your treasured prefix here down-under.
On the 19th April 2005 we lost our beloved Blade.
He now runs with the angels with the wings once more on his feet.
